BACK FROM TEXAS!

we have been in texas for most of the month of november for a couple of events in houston.
at casa de novia, we launched our bridesmaid line... MADE TO HONOR. the party was a huge success. we found out a week later that saks bridal department in houston is closing and that meant good news all around. luvi wheelock not only picked up made to honor but she also will be welcoming monique lhuillier gowns to her store! YAY!! congrats luvi ;)
we also participated in the cannon affair. we met some amazing people and were blessed to be in the same room with handbag designer, mary nichols (www.shopmarynichols.com).
during our trip, we got word that doucette duvall was in the december issue of VOGUE!! we searched high and low for 2 weeks straight and finally found the infamous jennifer aniston issue ("what angelina did was so not cool") on the LAST DAY of our trip!! check it out under press!

i already posted this under press because its on people.com but i wanted to blog about it too.
i woke up last saturday and did my normal thing... coffee, people.com, perezhilton.com, email check... and stumbled upon this pic of eva mendes wearing our beatrice dress in sun earlier this month at london's heathrow airport. needless to say, we were all really excited. eva "shut it down." thanks bg!!

lovely liv tyler wore MER in navy polka to spike tv's 2008 scream awards at the greek theater in LA on saturday, october 18th. liv took home the award for best female in horror movie "the strangers". you can catch liv and the scream awards on spike tv airing on tuesday, september 21 at 9pm!!
