um yes... this IS may anderson in doucette duvall. (she is wearing our lonnie dress which hits stores in july 2010.)
chris aire held a runway show last week in LA to showcase his latest collection of fine jewelry and timepieces made with nigerian gold and gem stones. chris aire and annebet are friends from way back and he asked doucette duvall to design pieces for his show. we put together about 20 looks and i think its safe to say that they were all a hit. afterwards people were buzzing "where can i get the ruffle skirt" or "i want the dress may was wearing." we were backstage and didn't get to see the show but its been getting rave reviews online.
must say that i was a little disappointed that robin thicke didn't make it. but i guess since his wife gave birth hours before (CONGRATS!!) i should let him slide this time ;) d'banj DID perform and it was HOT! and the after party was so much fun... dj was playing mj and you know dd

i spent this past week in nyc ... SHIPPING! almost all of our spring deliveries have officially been shipped and should be in stores within the next week! don't forget to check out our website to find a store near you (or online!!)

sxsw fun in austin.

friday in texas was sunny and beautiful. saturday, however..... was the day of our event and it was rainy, windy and coooooold.
even though the weather was not ideal, we still had the best time at GALLERY D! we were so excited to be part of the sxsw fun in austin. we rocked out to not one, but two bands: language room AND oak is keeping. we sipped screwdrivers and bundled up with our double scarves (they were the hit of the party!) we even got to catch up with some of our ol' austin friends.

party season has begun and is now in full swing!
at the end of february we participated in a sales event with DAME LOLA at the murano hotel in tacoma, wa. let me tell ya... we LOVE these girls. very stylish and so much fun. we even got some great pics of the girls in dd. our libby skirt was a big hit.
then we were off to COQUETTE BOUTIQUE and BISTRO in houston. the weather was spectacular and it was a perfect day for a party. our trunk show was all day (mmmmmm... with champagne and cupcakes...) and then the cocktail party followed. aries, the store owner, is beyond amazing and we love her store. also obsessed with her jewelry. i picked up a custom made for me necklace with an eiffel tower and a lucky number 8. annebet was dying for the ring with a picture of tom ford ;)
this weekend we are off to DC for an event at a private residence. and next weekend we will be in austin, texas. annebet and i will be at GALLERY D.
